In Stereo mode, the L/R input signal is fed to the left and right earphones while the volume level is set by the Stereo/Left control. The front panel inputs provide simultaneous connection of two headphones in parallel. In Mono mode, the left and right channels are summed, and the resulting mono signal is fed to both the left and right earphones. Again, volume is governed by the Stereo/Left control. Balanced or unbalanced? That_s not a problem with the BALUN/PLI05. BALUN stands for balanced-unbalanced. This means that because the PLI05 uses TRS (stereo) jack sockets, both the input and output can be operated balanced or unbalanced. The PLI05 is the PLI02_s little sister. Both speakers can be used to convert from balanced to unbalanced. Both speakers include line isolation transformers for galvanic isolation. They are connected between mains-operated audio devices to prevent ground loop hum. The PLI02 is designed for using XLR connectors and built for low impedances (600 ohm). The LD Systems HPA 6 is a highly flexible 1U 19_ rack format headphone amplifier with 6 fully independent channels and comprehensive features for a wide range of professional audio monitoring applications.

Each channel provides a 6.3 mm TRS headphone output on the front panel with level control, mono/stereo switching, discrete left/right muting and a 6.3 mm TRS Aux input with Main/Aux balance control for mixing in further signal sources. Four-segment LED meters permit visual output level monitoring, and two 6.3 mm TRS outputs per channel on the rear allow for connecting a total of 18 headphones.

The HPA 6's main section features a master level control with eight-segment LED metering and 6.3 mm TRS input to mix in an additional source with all channels. The rear panel provides the main stereo inputs on balanced XLR and 6.3 mm TRS connectors and stereo outputs for daisy chaining multiple units.

The LD Systems HPA 1 is a versatile headphone amplifier with high power output for stage, studio and home recording and is the perfect solution for wired in-ear-monitoring.. The compact device in a rugged, ergonomically shaped plastic housing with soft-touch surface and practical belt clip is very extensively equipped.

In addition to locking XLR connectors for the stereo signal L/R input, the HPA 1 has a balanced 3.5 mm stereo jack as AUX input, which can be used in parallel for clicks or playback. It is protected for safe operation against excessive input levels; a hollow pin socket with negative internal contact enables the connection of a network adapter for fixed operation.

A 3.5 mm stereo jack is provided as earphone and headphone output. Volume level and balance can be set with easy-grip knobs, a push-button switches between the summed mono and stereo signals. A full-fledged limiter is integrated for distortion-free playback and as protection against feedback.

The LD Systems HPA 1 has bi-colour LEDs to facilitate the features overview, which displays the response of the limiter during peaks and the battery status. At 165 grams, the headphone amplifier is distinctly light-weight and can be operated for up to 12 hours thanks to a high quality 9 V block battery.

PPA 2

The LD Systems PPA 2 is a very compact analogue phono preamplifier, which equalises the extremely low output signal of conventional turntables to RIAA standards. It allows you to connect to devices without any phono input, such as mixers, PA power amplifiers or sound cards.

The phono inputs are designed as RCA jacks, just like the line outputs; the PPA 2 also has a screw terminal for the ground conductor of the turntable and a 6.3 mm stereo jack for connecting a headset. The THD factor of the preamplifier is below 0.05% and the channel separation is -75 dB.

The LD Systems PPA 2 uses a 12 V AC adapter; a bright LED indicates the power supply on the top of the sturdy metal chassis.

The Palmer ilm speaker simulation DI box removes all the uncertainties of amp micing such as microphone choice, acoustic environment and positioning. With a sophisticated filter switch simulating the sound behaviour of a real guitar speaker, it captures your authentic sound, even without a microphone. Its direct signal always sounds the same, whether at home, in the (home) studio, during rehearsals, or on stage, whatever the room size.

The Palmer ilm offers three analog guitar speaker simulation settings, which represent typical guitar speaker models. We'll leave the flowery names to the others; on the Palmer ilm , they are called "normal", "mellow" and "bright".

Generally, the Palmer ilm is looped in between the guitar amp output and guitar speaker; but it can also be operated on the amplifier's line out. For input-level adjustment, the ilm has a pad switch with three settings: 0, -15 and -30 dB.

The output of the Palmer ilm is balanced and transformer isolated which means there is no interference or ground loop hum when connecting it to a mixing console or audio interface. With the Palmer ilm, you can always rely on what really matters: Your music, your instrument and your sound.
