At the same time, the tight schedules of a production rarely allow for fetching a ladder every time to manually adjust static spotlights high up in the rig - not to mention the safety risk for the people on site.

With the LS OP 1, Gravity® has a solution for these situations in its portfolio. The extendable operating pole enables the alignment of installed spotlights at great heights. The adjustment options include the pan and tilt angle, as well as focus adjustment (Pan/Tilt/Focus) via standard bells and the folding of barndoors.

The maximum length of 6.4 metres is achieved via three individually lockable extensions and can be extended to the desired length in a few simple steps. In addition, the robust but lightweight aluminium construction facilitates operation enormously.

At the upper end of the LS OP 1 is the integrated hook for hanging in the pan/tilt/focus bells. The crank at the lower end of the pole allows the hook to be easily turned into the desired position. The crank can be removed for easy and space-saving transport.

When conventional wire ropes are used, high levels of linear momentum can result if secured equipment falls. SAVEKINGS wire ropes incorporate a loop with a brake clamp. In the event of a fall, the loop constricts, thus absorbing the high shock forces. A color marking on the brake clamp serves as an indicator that the rope is in good condition.

The Riggatec Steelflex cinsisting of high-performance polyester fibres and galvanized steel cable inserts are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 1492-2, 13414-1 and 13414-3. The high quality workmanship and extremely high load capacity make them particularly safe.

They are multifunctional for a wide variety of transport and lifting applications, e.g. in event technology, exhibition constructions or for load securing. The lightweight round slings are easy to use and are practically invisible due to the black double-walled sheath.

In addition, the Riggatec Steelflex are extremely robust since the inner, endlessly laid steel cables are sheated with a polyester fabric that is heat-resistant up to 150°C. The Riggatec Steelflex are more durable and versatile than conventional round slings and meet the DGUV17 (BGVC-1) requirements, which means that additional secondary protection is no longer necessary.

A viewing window is installed for maintenance and material inspection of the Riggatec Steelflex to always guarantee the highest level of usability and safety.
