With do-it-yourself speaker concepts, and ready-made speakers in particular, this can easily result in speaker systems which feature flagship character and almost unaffordable costs.
The first totally applies to the KODEX. The concepts from MONACOR INTERNATIONAL certainly ensure that efforts remain realistic.
The KODEX, however, is no standard building set for beginners. It is more likely to be a permanent solution, at least to some extent. This is until you get the urge to build yet another speaker system.
Until then, the reward is a dream speaker which is almost perfect and never fails to fascinate. No matter whether modern music at a realistic volume level or creating an impressive classical surrounding, the KODEX always demonstrates great features.
You can expect features like the tremendous full range, an excellent low distortion, endless dynamic power, a perfect sound which shows the slightest difference between tones. At the same time, you will build more than just the sum of these features. With the KODEX, you will build a great speaker system. The concept of the KODEX is a 3-way dual bass d'Appolito arrangement in a cabinet which is developed as a limit case between transmission line and bass-reflex system. This results in minimum modulation distortions in the midrange, a perfectly stable radiation pattern and a deep fundamental bass of such a precision which is unreachable by considerably smaller speaker systems. If precisely matched to the surroundings (more details on this topic later), the KODEX sometimes even sounds slender and amazingly dry until a real wall-shaking deep bass signal is reproduced (which goes unnoticed with many other speaker systems).
The applied speakers from MONACOR are selected on a simple principle: nothing but the best. The MSH-116/44 may look like a basic speaker at first sight. However, in a dual arrangement on top of high-tech 20 cm bass speakers like the current speaker SPH-225C which features a carbon cone of long excursion, there is no speaker more sophisticated. Perfect simply means perfect. The 28 mm silk dome tweeter DT-28N complements the team. There is nothing else required than such a tweeter with the capability of being inserted at low frequencies, with high efficiency and a perfect brilliance to build a high-fidelity speaker for sophisticated demands.;Parts list included in the delivery:;
