The Roadbuddy relies fully on wireless transmission: it has an UHF radio receiver which operates in the license-free 863 - 865 MHz range, and can be expanded with an additional system. The on-board Bluetooth player with backlit multifunction display ,equalizer, USB port and SD card slot supports the mp3, wma and wav formats. A handheld microphone with 10 mW output power(LDRBUD10) or as an alternative a headset microphone with belt pack (LDRBUD10HS) and an IR-remote control for the player are included.

Developed in Germany, the UHF diversity wireless systems from the U300® series deliver excellent audio performance. They achieve a range of 100 metres in ideal conditions and are available in five frequency bands: 584_608 MHz, 655_679 MHz, 823_832 MHz + 863_865 MHz, 470_490 MHz or 514_542 MHz. Up to six U300® systems can be used simultaneously in each frequency band. Convenient one-touch synchronisation via infrared ensures fast, problem-free wireless connection between the transmitter and receiver, while a squelch with pilot tone ensures disruption-free operation.

U300® transmitters have a 10 mW output and an operating time of 10 hours on two AA batteries. The handheld microphone_s frequency response ranges from 55 Hz to 16 KHz. With a lower cut-off frequency of 25 Hz, the bodypack is also suitable for transmitting 5-string bass guitars with a deep H string. The bodypack_s input level can be adjusted to both active and passive guitars and basses over three levels. The power switch features a handy standby mode for temporary muting. The U300® receiver is fitted with a bright LCD channel display, an LED chain for displaying audio signal strength and both a balanced XLR and an unbalanced 6.35 mm audio output. The audio output can also be switched to instrument level for directly connecting to guitar and bass amplifiers.

U300®-series wireless systems feature a fresh, modern design and are available as vocal sets with receiver and dynamic handheld microphone with cardioid characteristic, bodypack and headset or bodypack and lavalier microphone. The microphone characteristic can be changed using U500®-series replaceable heads. U300® instrument sets are available with bodypack and clip-on microphone for wind instruments or a double-shielded low-capacitance cable for guitars and basses.

Selectable transmit power up to 30 mW provides the U500® vocal sets with a free-field range of over 100 metres. High-contrast OLED displays provide an excellent overview of functions, with indicators for group, channel, radio frequency, and signal strength and battery status. You can even enter individual usernames. In addition to the squelch function, the transmitter_s silent pilot tone ensures fail-safe operation. It protects against interference and mutes the receiver if signals without this tone are present. The U500®_s efficient technology and high-quality components provide clear, distortion-free transmission without latency or artefacts. Low power consumption means that the transmitter can run for up to 10 hours with 2 x AA batteries.

The U500® Series vocal sets are available with hand-held transmitters, headsets, lavalier microphones and single or double receivers. The hand-held transmitters feature interchangeable microphone capsules to suit singing or speaking.

The ZONE 622 is a particularly compact 1U zone mixer with 6 line and 2 microphone channels, that can be assigned to a stereo or a mono master output. The device has all the essential functions, an input for an external emergency announcement system with its own volume control, and a connection to the remote-controlled switching mute. The ZONE 622 is suitable as a sound system for separate zones in restaurants, clubs, hotels, fitness centres, and for presentations.

The two balanced microphone channels with stereo jack inputs are equipped with controls for Gain, Talkover volume, Talkover attenuation, 12V phantom power and a shared 2-band EQ. The line channels 1 and 2 can also be used to connect unbalanced microphones, and channel 6 is specially designed for balanced FOH signals. The stereo input channels of the ZONE 622 have a Cue button and volume control signal display, and the channels 1-5 have an additional gain trimmer.
