The MAUI® 44 G2 is now the practical, powerful solution for the professional segment.

The LD Systems MAUI® 44 G2 W is the flagship of the MAUI series column PAs: it offers an enormous 1,500 watts of total output (RMS) with a frequency response of 37 Hz to 20 kHz and a sound-level pressure of 132 dB (peak). With its outstanding sound properties and wide-ranging functions, this compact column PA is perfect for rental companies, musicians, small clubs, street festivals and permanent installations. The cardioid properties of the column elements and the possibility of creating a cardioid bass with an additional subwoofer further highlights the professional nature of this sound system. The column achieves a rear attenuation of 18 dB, the subwoofer 15 dB. The MAUI® 44 G2 W also sets the tone when the two-part column is equipped with twelve 3.5" neodymium full-range speakers and four 1" HF drivers with waveguide. The phase plugs on the six upper drivers improve horizontal directivity, reduce distortion and optimise the sensitivity below the crossover frequency for the tweeters. In addition, the four tweeters feature specially designed and optimised compression drivers coupled to a constant directivity waveguide to provide 120° of coverage across the width and 25° of focused vertical directivity. The curved design of the waveguide transports more energy in the high frequencies to listeners standing further away.

In the case of permanent installations or when providing sound for conferences, the TrueWireless_ stereo function makes life a whole lot easier since it enables two systems to be wirelessly connected for stereo reproduction. Bluetooth® streaming in HD quality is no problem at all thanks to aptX_ and AAC Codec, while DynX® DSP technology ensures distortion-free sound reproduction even at the very highest volumes. Total and subwoofer levels can be individually adjusted, providing a perfectly balanced sound in all situations, with a crystal-clear treble, a crisp mid-range and - thanks to the flow-optimised bass-reflex channels - a powerful bass.

Another particularly user-friendly feature of the MAUI® 44 G2 W is automatic set-up recognition: if the column is removed to use the subwoofer as a follower, for example, the display automatically jumps to FOLLOWER and functions such as Bluetooth and the volume controls for MAIN and SUB no longer appear.

The MAUI® 44 G2 W is absolutely top-class when it comes to transportation and mobile use, too: assembly is quick and simple with no need for cables or stands - special multi-pin connections are used instead. Together, the rugged subwoofer housing made of birch multiplex with polyurea coating and the light, powder-coated aluminium column weigh a total of less than 48 kg - a weight reduction of 20% as compared to the predecessor model. The optionally available transport roller board, carry bag and sub cover do a superb job in day-to-day use. In terms of inputs, the MAUI® 44 G2 W offers two XLR IN connections, while two XLR outputs enable a wired stereo configuration of two systems. Meanwhile the SUB OUT can be used to hook up an additional subwoofer, and the power supply is via secure and reliable powerCon connection.

With the DAVE 18 G4X, your search is over. This powered compact PA - which is made up of an 18" subwoofer and two 8" satellites (total power: 4000 W peak) - doesn't just deliver a new, modern design with numerous handling optimisations. It also offers an integrated 6-channel mixer with all the important input options you could ever need. This allows you to create a wide variety of setups and combinations of instruments, vocals and audio sources - both wired and wireless - thanks to integrated Bluetooth for easy streaming via a smartphone or tablet.

The first two channels of the mixer are designed as channel strips. Here, you can connect either a microphone, a high-impedance instrument - such as a guitar and/or bass - or line-level sources. A 2-band EQ for bass and treble, as well as an adjustable reverb with three presets (small, large, plate), are available for shaping the sound further. Channels 3 and 4 are designed as stereo line inputs, and are suitable for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines or small electronic drum kits.

The new LD Systems DAVE 8XS is a portable 2.1 multimedia system with a high-performance 8" band pass subwoofer and two satellites (each 4" + 1", with silk dome).

The LD Systems MAUI Series represents this all-in-one concept in every detail and offers an unrivalled PA package in terms of sound, design, technology and handling. This applies in particular to the MAUI G3 MIX versions, which feature integrated digital 6-channel mixers. All components are integrated and perfectly matched: mixer, effects, dynamics processing, DSP controller, power amplifiers, and speakers. Wireless remote control via a free MAUI app (available on iOS or Android smartphones and tablets) is also included.

The MAUI 11 G3 MIX delivers a huge, powerful, and precise sound with 730 W RMS power (1,460 W peak). It is suitable for various applications, for example as a main PA for singer-songwriters and small bands, a sound system for mobile DJs and formations, or a PA system at weddings, corporate events, and more.

The built-in 6-channel mixer adjusts to the user's preferences through the Easy and Expert Modes. Users can choose between intuitive 3-band EQs or more advanced 5-way full parametric control. A comprehensive effects section provides the full range of reverb, delay and dynamics processing options. Users can wirelessly control all mixer and effects settings through the app.

For stereo applications, two MAUI 11 G3 MIX units can be linked via SysLink®. In this setting, twice the number of mixer channels are available, and with the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system.

With its sleek and elegant design, the MAUI 11 G3 MIX looks extremely appealing. The two aluminium column elements sit at the front edge of the subwoofer, further enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns are equipped with 6 x 3.5'' midrange drivers and 2 x 1'' tweeters, providing an even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion in combination with the innovative phase plug design. In addition, the curved waveguide _ in front of the tweeters _ carries the high frequencies right to the back of the audience areas.

The LD Systems engineers also took great care with the crossover filter between midrange and tweeter speakers. The aim was to reduce harmonic distortion and interference to make the sound even more transparent, vibrant and powerful. The result speaks for itself: a highly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° dispersion field.

The MAUI 11 G3 MIX columns are designed as cardioid units. This allows for controlled low mids at the front and up to 18 dB of attenuation at the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound. Equipped with two 8'' woofers and four bass reflex ports, the MAUI 11 G3 MIX subwoofer delivers a clear, tight and punchy low end down to 39 Hz. By using a second subwoofer, the bass response can also be increased by up to 6 dB, and it can also be driven in cardioid configuration at the push of a button (Cardioid preset). In addition, the subwoofer_s ultra-durable polyurea coating easily withstands even the toughest demands of life on the road.

The MAUI 11 G3 MIX is a real sound machine, yet will impress solo entertainers, singer/songwriters or small bands daily with its smart features. Transport is as easy as usual, while the hidden multi-pin connections between the elements provide increased stability during assembly. The CURV 500® Entertainer Set consists of a high-performance 10" bass reflex subwoofer and an easily configurable array system with four satellites. Featuring a power of 460 watts RMS and a maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB, the CURV 500® ES Set is the ideal sound system for small events or conferences and meetings.

The compact, transport-friendly CURV 500® is an array system with 4 interlocking satellites, which are operated via a SmartLink® adapter. The elements, only 12 x 12 cm in size, are equipped with LD System's own WaveAhead® technology. One 4" and three 1" drivers provide a coherent and extremely detailed playback with high pressure and dynamics.

The 10" bass-reflex subwoofer houses the Class D power amplifier and includes a limiter, protection against short circuit, overheating, over-voltage, as well as a 4-channel mixer with 16 digital effect presets and Bluetooth®.
