The Split-Lid -Butterfly from Adam Hall makes building flight cases with split lids or hoods really easy. For one, the number of required butterflies can in many cases be reduced from four to two; also, the elaborate lid location transition is eliminated at the corners. Last but not least, there are also handling benefits, since fewer closures need to be operated.

Our V3, V4 and V5 Butterflies have a patented ´push-down` mechanism that lifts the hook out of the keeper plate on opening and leads it back into the dish on closing. This offers an ideal handling and minimises risk of injury and damage.

With the ClapLock, Adam Hall is unveiling an innovative (patent pending) solution for locking flight cases that is not only especially practical, but also extremely elegant.
It is used primarily in conference technology, in the AV sector, and in industrial applications: in short, wherever not only sound functionality, but also design plays a role. Unlike the classic "butterfly" clasp, the ClapLock opens simply and intuitively with the press of a button. Inadvertent release of the locking mechanism is virtually impossible thanks to the recessed design. It is flush with both the inside and the outside of the case. Moreover, the proven design protects the heads of the rivets against damage. Extremely simple operation and a stylish look make the ClapLock the perfect flight case lock for special demands.

Our V3, V4 and V5 Butterflies have a patented spring mechanism that lifts the closing hook when opening and guides it out of the clasp. When closing, the closing hook is precisely guided back into the clasp. This allows for optimal operability and also minimises the risk of injury and damage.

The butterfly is only 7 mm deep so that it does not protrude into the case. The mechanism, which therefore protrudes further, is protected from damage by a circumferential edge.
