Flerkanalsmodtageren VSX-934, VSX-832, VSX-932, VSX-LX302 samt stereomodtageren SX-N30AE inkluderer seriemæssigt en RDS-tuner til UKW. Den, der vil anvende DAB-digitalradio, kan billigt og i en håndevending udbygge den med AS-DB100. AS-DB100 stikkes bare ind i USB-porten på bagsiden af de ovennævnte Pioneer-modeller og integrerer sig derefter automatisk i udstyrets modtagervalg og brugerstyring. Med hensyn til betjening er DAB-udbygningen derfor på ingen måde forskellig fra en fastmonteret modtager, og også signalkvaliteten er på ingen måde reduceret takket være digital lydtransmission og transformering med modtagerens førsteklasses DACs.
