DVC D5
The new Cameo DVC D5 Interface is the perfect successor to the Cameo DVC and is now bundled with lifetime licences for Cameo D4 Express and Cameo D5 Express. With the associated Cameo software powered by Daslight, DMX-compatible lamps can be conveniently controlled from PC and Mac.
In live mode, the DVC D5 with its 512 DMX channels becomes the ultimate tool for live shows. For computerless use as a standalone DMX player with 256 channels, programmed light shows can be copied to the integrated flash memory. The interface has a USB-C input, a 3-pin DMX output and is powered via the USB output of your computer. Three buttons facilitate programme selection and dimming in standalone mode, which requires only a standard 5V USB power supply.
The free Cameo software package includes over 15,000 fixture libraries and a ScanLibrary editor for creating or customising fixture profiles. This software allows individual DMX fixtures to be selected, grouped and added to the lightshow in a 2D display. Create dynamic scenes, layer them and use the palette function for lighting control without fader movement.
Explore creative possibilities with live editing tools, an audio analyser, MIDI beat synchronisation for lights and music tempo, and real-time 3D visualisation of the programmed light show. The customisable screen layout accommodates individual needs, and the free Easy Remote app allows wireless control via iPhone, iPad and Android devices over Wi-Fi.
After registration at https://store.dmxsoft.com/, hardware and software upgrades, some of which are subject to a fee, are possible, such as the expansion of the standalone and live channels as well as time-limited or unlimited licences of Light Raider and much more.
